Just a few more for now

Here are a few more photos from this year.

This is a portrait of an old friend I snapped at another friend's wedding. Its one of my first attempts at controlling a flash. Bounced off the ceiling

Wow, I've neglected this blog yet again for most of this year. Hopefully I'll quite letting time slip away between posts. Here are a few photos I've made since last post.

I'm heading to Uganda, Africa next week. Myself and 5 friends will be working at an orphanage for the month of December. I am planning to shoot as many frames as I can (while not busy working). I'll be posting some of the results of that trip as soon as I get back. I also hope to make a video, so be looking for that as well.

D200 at last!

I am finally the proud owner of a D200 DSLR. These are some of the first shots with it.

Heres another picture of my niece. It took me forever to get her while she was half way smiling.

This one has had major touch up. His fur was all in his eyes and it was very distracting, so I drew new eyes in PP.

Cowboy

The day after I got the camera, I went down to dam to try it out. I didn't get much that I was happy with. But I did get this shot while I was trying to get my settings down.

I like this picture but I can't decide how I want to crop it. Any ideas are welcome.

Oaks

OK so I know I've seen about a billion shots exactly like this, but I just had to try it.
